Description

The entrance arch for East City Park was built and dedicated in 1923 to the soldiers of Latah County who fought in the Spanish-American War and World War One. The arch was constructed by the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Dudley Loomis of the American Legion, Post No. 6. It was renovated in 1995 and stands at the southwest corner of the park at E. 3rd and Monroe St., not far from the Idaho Doughboy statue (separate entry).
